ADAM is reinforcing its commitment to the training and professional development of young dancers through the training and professional placements. This edition it will offer a day of Masterclasses with two Internationally recognized artists: Altea Nuñez and Ainara García.

Altea Nuñez is a Spanish dancer and choreographer trained at Victor Ullate School in Madrid and the Conservatory of The Hague. After three years with the Victor Ullate company, she joined the Royal Ballet of Flanders (2001-2013), where she was first soloist performing classical and neo-classical repertoire under directors like Robert Devers and Assis Carreiro, collaborating with choreographers such as Forsythe, Kylián and McGregor. In 2013 she began her choreographic career with success thanks to ‘Contigo’. Since then she has created over 10 works for international companies including Compañía Nacional de Danza and Ballet X Schwerin. Between 2017-2019 she taught ballet at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. In 2019 she was appointed Associate Artistic Director of Junior Ballet Antwerp, creating multiple works and premiering ‘Horizon’ in 2026. She also restaged ‘YU’ for the Paris Opera Ballet.

Ainara García trained at María de Ávila’s studio in Zaragoza and the Royal Conservatory in Madrid, graduating on a scholarship from the National Ballet School of Cuba in 1998, where she won the Silver Medal at the International Ballet Competition. Her professional career spanned eleven years with the Dutch National Ballet (1998-2009) under directors Wayne Eagling and Ted Brandsen, before moving to Ballet am Rhein in Düsseldorf with Martin Schläpfer. She performed an extensive classical and contemporary repertoire by choreographers including Balanchine, Forsythe, and Dawson. As a distinguished educator, she has taught at prestigious institutions like Codarts and the Henny Jurriëns Foundation, and served as ballet master for the production Narnia. Since 2017, she has been faculty at the Dutch National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam, combining her artistic legacy with training the next generation of dancers.

These residencies program not only recognize the talent and effort of the students, but also serve as a real tool for growth, stage experience, and guidance toward a professional future in dance.
